Bibliometric analysis in English language teaching and learning

The purpose of this paper is the bibliometric analysis journals indexed in SciELO area teaching and learning English as a second language. searched were: How, Profile, Colombian Applied Linguistics Journal. search for information made it possible to compare different indicators. Although true that results research show scientific production field abundant, varied terms thematic lines, collaborative, only reported three SciELO; however, other reports on language, all published invisible. Since most publications studied are by Latin American authors, evident productions region's being ignored.
